We are very grateful for friends of the college who support out mission financially. Your gifts support our work concretely and are also a source of personal encouragement to our students and to the whole community of the college. Thank you for your generosity!

See below for various ways to make your donation to The Presbyterian College (Click on the relevant heading for instructions).

In order to make your donation by Interac, e-Transfer from your banking institution, you may send the transfer to the College accounting office at this email address: [email protected]

In the note with your e-Transfer please indicate the area of need to which you wish to donate. You may select one of the following five areas for your contribution*:

  • Area of Greatest Need
  • Dale Woods Global Leaders Fund
  • Faith and Work – Leadership Centre
  • Practical Theology Program (French-language masters)
  • Student Aid and Bursaries
  • Facilities Renewal

If you wish to make a donation In Honour or In Memory of someone, please be sure to include this in the note with your e-Transfer. This person’s name will be acknowledged in the College Newsletter.

Bequest to the College

Many Canadians support charitable organizations through future gifts from their estates. A Charitable Will Bequest is a direction in your Will that instructs the Executor of your will to leave a financial contribution or an asset to a charitable organization.

A Charitable Will Bequest is a one way to support The Presbyterian College while helping you achieve meaningful tax saving for your estate by reducing the income tax liability at your death. A Charitable Will Bequest is a meaningful way to reduce taxes on your estate, increase inheritances to your loved ones and help us equip pastoral and other leaders for the flourishing of the church.

Area of Greatest Need

The College is grateful for all donations, including those designated for specific purposes. It is also particularly helpful to our mission and ministry if donations are designated for general use (or “area of greatest need”). This gives us the greatest level of flexibility and allows us to ensure that key areas of strategic and creative programming are funded. And that pressing areas of need can be addressed when they arise.

Facilities Renewal

The building of The Presbyterian College was constructed in 1962—it is a place and space where so many lives have been enriched and blessed. From the courtyard to the chapel to the classrooms to the library, students and staff have been formed for service in the church and in their wider communities. Of course buildings must be maintained and improved and repaired. We are grateful for your contributions to support facilities renewal.

Student Aid and Bursaries

Students are the heart and soul of The Presbyterian College, and always have been. These students come to us from around the globe, from various socio-economic backgrounds, and from various work experiences. Taking time out to study theology intensively involves a significant financial investment on their part. While our students finish their studies with lower levels of debt than is common, providing financial support to them is vital for their flourishing in studies and their being equipped for ministry.

Masters in Practical Theology

This new program, our first offered fully in French, was launched in partnership with the Institute de theologie pour la francophonie in 2019. We are grateful to be partnering in this program for the equipping of pastoral and lay leaders for participation in local mission.

Faith and Work – Leadership Centre

We believe that most Christians live out their faith, and participate in God’s mission, through their everyday work. It is not through church programs that they make an impact for the way of Jesus, but through their work as nurses and engineers and software designers and receptionists and administrators. When you contribute financially to this area, you are helping us design and offer programs that will equip everyday Christians to pursue their work as a call from Christ.
